Field Report: Gluten-Free Nutrition Improves Long-Term Complaints

Eating a gluten-free or low-gluten diet has many health benefits. Chronic complaints in particular can often be noticeably alleviated with a gluten-free diet. After years of complaints, she dared the gluten-free diet experiment at the age of 60 – and experienced such serious improvements in her condition that she sent us the following report.

Gluten sensitivity is still not taken seriously

It is interesting that many doctors claim again and again that only those people who have been diagnosed with celiac disease have to eat gluten-free. Since celiac disease only affects 1 percent of the population, these are very few people. Everyone else should eat “normally” because a gluten-free diet can also be harmful. Of course, the mainstream media are happy about such warnings and spread them enthusiastically – even if it is not true.

So the existence of non-celiac gluten sensitivity still doesn’t seem to have reached everyone. It is a gluten intolerance (also called gluten intolerance) that has little to do with celiac disease. The only thing they have in common is that those affected feel better when they are gluten-free.

For a long time, gluten sensitivity was pushed into the drawer of imaginary diseases. For some time now, however, various researchers have been addressing the problem and showing that gluten sensitivity does exist.

Possible symptoms of gluten sensitivity

Anyone affected by gluten sensitivity can suffer from a wide variety of symptoms and chronic diseases: joint problems, asthma, allergies, autoimmune diseases, chronic pain conditions, depression, migraines, and much more. The consumption of gluten does not have to be the sole cause of these diseases. However, if you are sensitive to gluten, gluten can exacerbate existing diseases and prevent them from being cured.

However, diffuse symptoms such as headaches, difficulty concentrating, limited performance, chronic fatigue, etc. can actually be directly caused by gluten and disappear completely if those affected eat a gluten-free or very low-gluten diet. Jana M. also experienced that a gluten-free diet can heal and give a whole new attitude to life. She reports:

Testimonial: Gluten intolerance led to chronic pain, immobility, and depression
“I am now 72 years old and, despite my many chronic ailments, I have never doubted that I would be able to get well again at my age. All my life I have been an athlete, acrobat, yoga teacher, and riding therapist. Highly flexible and vital. I came from gluten intolerance close to immobility with very severe pain and the feeling that all the muscles, connective tissue, and tendons were sticking together.

“I was looking forward to death!”

I had to stop riding because of the pain, I couldn’t teach yoga anymore, and had to give up my job – also because I was nervously “stuck”. I had also gained weight, from a normal weight of 65 kg to 80 kg. I had severe concentration problems, insomnia, and depression and was relieved when I was finally able to organize my estate. I looked forward to death and felt poisoned the whole time, like a beetle lying dying and stiff on its back.

For 12 years I had no idea of the cause of my increasing problems. I assumed that I would soon have a heart or cerebral infarction, I felt so seriously ill and internally stiff.

My doctor did her best: blood tests, EKG, and outpatient treatment. After a nervous breakdown, she wanted to admit me to a clinic, but I refused. She didn’t think about gluten.

The solution: gluten-free nutrition

One day many years ago I was busy at the computer until the early evening and forgot to eat. When I ran a short distance outdoors, I noticed a changed body feeling. I walked easier. After a moment’s thought, it dawned on me: There had to be a connection with the food, maybe with gluten.

I tried it out right away and found out very quickly that I was on the right track. To a certain extent I felt much better, but then the condition stagnated. In the meantime, 3 years had passed. Almost by “coincidence”, I heard a lecture by a nutritionist from the research institute in Hohenheim, who mentioned that gluten is also used in quark, yogurt, and, above all, ice cream powder, but does not necessarily have to be declared. Now I eliminated those foods as well, and my health came back another notch.

Natural measures help step by step

After another year, I became aware of the green-lipped mussel for the joints and shortly thereafter the alga Spirulina. I am currently taking a cure with Lapacho tea, which apparently also clears out the last hidden corners of my body. I no longer drink my morning coffee, which consists of 2 teaspoons of ground coffee and 1 liter of water. Since then, my heart has been beating calmly and unobtrusively again, after years of racing and stumbling around inside me. I exchanged the coffee for 2 cups of Matcha tea per day, which doesn’t stimulate you and doesn’t let you fall into “holes”.

“I’m 97% healthy!”

When I had figured out most of the connections between my diet and my symptoms on my own and was able to improve my health so much, I went back to my doctor and asked her to write my observations on my chart as a precaution. She took me seriously, did it, and only said that it was extremely difficult to make this diagnosis with certainty. I haven’t seen her since then because I’m 97% healthy now.

3 days ago an acquaintance sent me her information on Six signs of gluten intolerance. I was shocked and at the same time deeply relieved. Because for the first time I found what I was missing described in black and white. It also confirmed to me how right I was with my suspicion that I was suffering from gluten intolerance over the years. I had personally experienced the medical comments and (mis)diagnoses mentioned in your article.

Unfortunately, there are many stupid and scary articles to read about the dangers of living gluten-free on the internet. They are basically easy to unmask, but unfortunately not for many people. I am heartily grateful for your article, but it is the only one with such a clear statement. I have passed it on already and will continue to do so in the future.

Warm regards, your Jana M.”

Thank you very much, dear Jana, for sending us your very motivating report. We are very happy that you are doing so well again and wish you the very best.

Try a gluten-free diet too!

If you too – dear readers – have had chronic complaints for years that cannot be improved by anything, then try a gluten-free diet, e.g. B. for two months and wait and see what happens.

Send us your experience report

If you would like to tell us about your experiences (as a patient) with conventional medicines or other therapies, then send us your experience report to info(at)Zentrum-der-gesundheit.de! We will be happy to publish selected field reports with our notes and holistic tips here. In this way, other readers can also benefit from your experiences. At the same time, therapists and doctors are becoming more aware and will no longer blindly prescribe drugs with many side effects, especially if the patient is open to alternatives. Even if you are a doctor with additional training in naturopathy, if you are a nutritionist, or if you use orthomolecular medical therapies and do not lose sight of the holistic view of your therapies, then we look forward to positive reports from your practice.
