Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500 g minced meat
- 300 g onion(s)
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 bell peppers
- 300 g tomatoes, pureed
- 1 can white beans
- ¼ liter red wine
- 2 Cabanossi , or Mettenden
- e.g. vegetable broth
- Salt
- Cayenne pepper

Party soup, easy to prepare
Brown the ground beef with diced onions and garlic. Dice the bell peppers and add them, sautéing briefly. Add the passata, beans, red wine, and vegetable stock. Bring to a boil briefly. Season to taste with salt and cayenne pepper. Add the sliced sausages to the soup and heat through. I like to make the soup a day ahead; it saves time, and it tastes even better when it’s well-seasoned.
