Fiery minced meat stew with leek

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 2 stalk(s) leeks
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 bulb(s) of red garlic (approx. 5 cloves of garlic)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 large chili peppers
  • 2 small chili peppers
  • 2 tsp mustard, medium hot
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • ½ cup vegetable broth
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 4 tsp crème fraîche, place on each portion in the middle

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

with fresh unseeded chili peppers

Peel and finely dice the onions. It’s best to also trim and slice the leeks at this point. Fry the onions in oil in a pan, add the minced meat, and fry until lightly browned and crumbly. Chop the chili and continue frying with the meat. Now add the leeks. Mix the stock, tomato paste, and mustard together beforehand and pour in the mixture. Mix well. Season to taste with salt and pepper. We serve this with linguini and place a teaspoon of crème fraîche in the center of each serving of minced meat.
