Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 bell pepper(s), red
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 jar white wine
- 300 ml vegetable stock
- salt and pepper
- chili powder
- Sugar
- Balsamic vinegar
- 1 cup of cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
with schnitzels or meat skewers
Clean the peppers and onions and cut them into equal-sized strips. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the onions and peppers. Add tomato paste and roast briefly, then dust everything with flour and continue roasting briefly. Deglaze with white wine, season, and reduce briefly. Add the vegetable stock and simmer for about 15 minutes. Finally, add cream if desired and season with the spices and balsamic vinegar for a spicy, hot finish.
