Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 10 large figs, fresh
  • 75 g ham (Serrano or Parma ham), thin slices
  • 75 g mascarpone
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • some lemon peel, untreated, grated
  • 40 pistachios

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

quick – easy to make, makes 40 pieces

Carefully grate the figs, then quarter them. Cut the ham into small pieces and arrange them loosely on top of the fig slices. Mix the mascarpone and season with salt, pepper, and lemon zest, then season to taste. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a small star nozzle and pipe onto the topped figs. Garnish each of the cheese dots on the fig slices with a pistachio. Serve the fig bites immediately if possible, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
