Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 300 g quark
- 300 g flour
- 3 eggs
- 100 g sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- ½ pack of baking powder
- Fat, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Quark balls
Beat eggs and sugar until frothy, add quark. Mix in vanilla sugar, flour, and baking powder. Using a large teaspoon, briefly dipped in the hot oil, scoop out sparrows. Shape into rounds with the spoon in the palm of your hand, and fry in the oil for about 5 minutes. Tip: Fold 70g of rum-soaked raisins into the batter.
