Fish fingers on mashed potatoes

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g potatoes
  • 150 g leek
  • 1 pack of fish fingers
  • 150 ml milk
  • 50 g butter
  • 100 g cheese, grated (Gouda)
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash, peel, and halve the potatoes, then boil in salted water until tender. Wash, trim, and slice the leeks, then blanch in salted water for about 4 minutes, then drain. Season with pepper. Bake the fish fingers in the oven at 200°C according to the package instructions. Drain the potatoes, add the milk and butter, and mash the potatoes. Season with salt. Place the mashed potatoes in a baking dish, then spread the leeks on top, then arrange the fish fingers on top. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 15 minutes.
