Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced beef
- 1 large onion(s)
- 40 g butter
- 4 tomatoes
- 2 small cans of beans, green or frozen
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp, heaped paprika powder, sweet
- Salt
- 1 packet of mashed potato powder
- 200 g cheese (young Gouda), in a block or already grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Finely chop the onions and fry in butter until translucent. Add the minced meat and cook for 10 minutes. Chop the tomatoes, drain the beans, and add both to the meat (blanch frozen beans first). Season generously with ketchup, paprika, and salt. Prepare the mashed potatoes according to the package instructions. Pour half of the mashed potatoes into a buttered casserole dish, spread evenly, and cover with the meat and vegetable mixture. Spread the remaining mashed potatoes on top and sprinkle the casserole with grated Gouda cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C on the middle rack for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
