Fish: Plaice Fillets Baked with Cheese and Eggs

The perfect fish: plaice fillets baked with cheese and eggs recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Fresh plaice fillets
  • 2 tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Salt
  • 2 piece Fresh onions
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 2 piece Free range eggs
  • 4 tbsp Chopped parsley
  • Grated Edam
  1. Treat the fish according to the 3-S method – clean, sour, salt. To do this, of course, first press the lemon juice.
  2. Peel and dice the onions.
  3. Heat 2 tbsp butter in a pan and sauté the onion cubes until translucent.
  4. Grease a flat baking dish well with butter. Dry the fish and place them close together in the dish.
  5. Now whisk the eggs with the glassy onions and chopped parsley and spread over the fish.
  6. Sprinkle the grated cheese over it until everything is well covered. On top of that we add a few flakes of butter and off we go to the middle in the oven preheated to 200 ° C.
  7. Leave the whole thing in the oven for about 1/2 hour, until the cheese is nicely browned.
  8. 8, there was jacket potatoes and cucumber salad (this time with a mustard vinaigrette).
  9. Sorry: I forgot to take a picture of point 3. Please don’t be angry with me, but a lot of cooks spoil the broth.
