Ingredients for 4 servings:
- ½ kg fish fillet(s)
- 2 large onions
- 3 large potatoes
- 3 carrots
- 3 large tomatoes, sliced
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- wafer rolls
- Cumin, ground
Instructions

Siniya potatoes bil samak
Wash the fish, dry it, and cut it into 10 cm pieces. Rub it with a mixture of salt, pepper, and cumin. Peel the onions and slice them into rings. Fry them in oil, add the thinly sliced potatoes and carrots, and fry briefly. Grease a roasting pan with a little oil and add some of the vegetable mixture. Place the fish on top, then the rest of the vegetable mixture. Finally, layer the tomato slices on top. Pour over the broth and lemon juice. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 40-60 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.
