Florentine-style fish rolls

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g leaf spinach
  • 600 g fish fillet(s), e.g. plaice
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ onion(s), finely diced
  • 150 ml cream
  • 50 g flour (Weckmehl)
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • nutmeg
  • garlic powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Clean, wash, and cook the spinach. Wash and season the fish fillets. Top each with half of the spinach, sprinkle with a few diced onions, and roll up. Place the remaining spinach in a baking dish and arrange the rolls on top. Mix the breadcrumbs with the cream, pour over the fish, and sprinkle with the cheese. Bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes. Serve with boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes, or fried potatoes.
