Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 egg(s)
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 125 g quark, 20%
  • 40 ml milk
  • 40 ml oil
  • 250 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • Flour for the work surface
  • 50 g butter for spreading
  • Sugar for rolling

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Combine all the dough ingredients in a food processor and let it rest for 15 minutes. If the dough is sticky, add a little more flour. Then divide the dough into 12 equal pieces of approximately 50g each. On a floured surface, roll out a rope of approximately 25cm for each bunny, cross the rope twice, pull the ears apart slightly, and shape into a bunny shape. Place the bunnies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush with melted butter. Bake in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 15 minutes. Immediately after baking, brush with butter again and roll in sugar.
