Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 60 g butter
  • 60 g flour
  • 350 ml milk
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 package of cheese fondue mix (ready-made product)
  • pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cheese soufflé

Butter a soufflé dish. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the flour, and sauté gently, mixing well to prevent burning. As soon as the flour clumps together, add the milk. Mix well and simmer until thickened. Remove from the heat and season. Add the egg yolks and the fondue cheese mixture and mix well. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold into the mixture. Immediately pour into the dish and bake at 200°C for 30 minutes. Serve immediately.
