Forest Mushrooms with Dumplings and Cream Sauce
The perfect forest mushrooms with dumplings and cream sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 lb Mixed forest mushrooms, for example, porcini mushrooms, chestnuts and birch mushrooms
- 1 Onions
- 1 Cup Thin broth, or water
- 1 Cup Cream
- 1 tsp Fat
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 tbsp Vinegar
- 0,5 tsp Flour
- Parsley
- Clean the mushrooms, cut into pieces and boil briefly in salted water, then drain off the water.
- Let the fat get hot in a pan and brown the chopped onions in it. Add the mushrooms and heat them up vigorously.
- Season with salt and pepper, add water and cream. Let it get hot again and the flour binds the sauce. (To do this, stir flour with a little water)
- Season to taste with vinegar, salt and pepper and sprinkle with parsley.
- Dumplings are described in my KB and are very simple. Potatoes also go well with it.
