Forest Mushrooms with Dumplings and Cream Sauce

The perfect forest mushrooms with dumplings and cream sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 lb Mixed forest mushrooms, for example, porcini mushrooms, chestnuts and birch mushrooms
  • 1 Onions
  • 1 Cup Thin broth, or water
  • 1 Cup Cream
  • 1 tsp Fat
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 0,5 tsp Flour
  • Parsley
  1. Clean the mushrooms, cut into pieces and boil briefly in salted water, then drain off the water.
  1. Let the fat get hot in a pan and brown the chopped onions in it. Add the mushrooms and heat them up vigorously.
  1. Season with salt and pepper, add water and cream. Let it get hot again and the flour binds the sauce. (To do this, stir flour with a little water)
  1. Season to taste with vinegar, salt and pepper and sprinkle with parsley.
  1. Dumplings are described in my KB and are very simple. Potatoes also go well with it.
