Ingredients
- 250 g Butter
- 200 g Clarified butter
- 225 g Sugar
- 2 Egg yolk
- 2 tbsp Arrack
- 1 Grated lemon peel
- 750 g Sifted flour
- 1 pinch Salt

- Cinnamon and sugar / real Franconian)

Instructions
- Mix the butter and clarified butter until foamy, then add the sugar, egg yolk, salt, arrack and lemon zest.
- Knead in the sifted flour.
- Wrap the dough in foil or put it in a bowl with a lid in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours
- After 24 hours, roll out the dough (in portions) on a floured surface to a thickness of approx. 5 mm, preheat the oven: Electric stove: 200 ° degrees WL 175 ° degrees
- Cut out any shapes and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until golden yellow. The amount results in approx. 60 - 70 normal size cookies!
- Finally, do not roll the cookies in the cinnamon-sugar mixture while they are still hot or decorate them with bright colors with the children and grandchildren.
