  • 250 g Butter
  • 200 g Clarified butter
  • 225 g Sugar
  • 2 Egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp Arrack
  • 1 Grated lemon peel
  • 750 g Sifted flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • For decor:
  • Cinnamon and sugar / real Franconian)
  • Or: not Franconian but for the KIDS
  • Colorful glaze, sugar pearls, chocolate shavings
  • Chocolate icing according to my recipe and, and, and !!

Instructions

  • Mix the butter and clarified butter until foamy, then add the sugar, egg yolk, salt, arrack and lemon zest.
  • Knead in the sifted flour.
  • Wrap the dough in foil or put it in a bowl with a lid in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours
  • After 24 hours, roll out the dough (in portions) on a floured surface to a thickness of approx. 5 mm, preheat the oven: Electric stove: 200 ° degrees WL 175 ° degrees
  • Cut out any shapes and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until golden yellow. The amount results in approx. 60 - 70 normal size cookies!
  • Finally, do not roll the cookies in the cinnamon-sugar mixture while they are still hot or decorate them with bright colors with the children and grandchildren.
  • Have fun baking! Pictures are still being posted
