Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 375 g flour
- 20 g cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 1 tsp. clove powder
- ½ tsp, crushed cinnamon powder
- 250 g butter
- 3 egg yolks
- 90 g sugar
- powdered sugar
- lemon juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes
without nuts or almonds
Mix the flour with the cocoa and spices. Add the butter, egg yolks, and sugar to make a shortcrust pastry. Chill the dough for half an hour. Roll out the dough and cut out cookies that resemble small slices of bread. Place on a prepared baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for about 15 minutes. Mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice to make a glaze. Spread it over the cooled cookies.
