Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 large potatoes
  • 5 large carrots
  • 300 g peas
  • 1 apple, sour
  • 1 class jar of mayonnaise, low fat
  • 2 cups natural yogurt, whole milk
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp mustard, sweet
  • lemon juice

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

Boil the potatoes in their skins, peel, and dice. Peel the carrots, quarter them lengthwise, and slice them. Cook with the peas. Peel and finely dice the apple, and drizzle with lemon juice. Mix the mayonnaise, yogurt, mustard, and sugar into a cream, season with salt and pepper. Thoroughly mix the vegetables, apple, and cream. Refrigerate and serve well chilled (we rarely manage this; the family pounces on it while it’s still lukewarm…).
