Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 slice(s) toast bread (sandwich toast)
  • Syrup (possibly maple syrup)
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Whisk the milk, eggs, and salt thoroughly. Dip the slices of white bread into the egg mixture and allow them to soak up the egg mixture. Fry in a hot pan with melted butter until golden brown. Pour over the syrup (Americans add a little extra butter to the toast). If you don’t have any syrup, honey or jam will also work.
