Fresh Fruit Salad with Walnut Ice Cream

The perfect fresh fruit salad with walnut ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Pc. Oranges
  • 2 Pc. Kiwi
  • 2 Pc. Pears
  • 2 Pc. Bananas
  • 2 Pc. Apple
  • 1 Pc. Pineapple without stalk or skin
  • 200 g Grapes
  • 500 g Peach Preserve
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 400 ml White wine
  • 1 Pc. Lemon fruit juice
  • 500 g Walnut ice cream
  • 200 g Whipped cream
  • 5 cl Advocaat
  1. First remove the peel from the oranges, kiwis and pears and cut into pieces. Cut the pineapple into pieces and mix everything together. Wash grapes and stir in without stalk as well. Bring the white wine (at the most semi-dry) to the boil with the sugar and then let cool. Then mix with the fruit.
  2. Chop the peaches and off to the fruit. Add peach juice to taste. Let the whole thing stand for an hour.
  3. Before serving, remove the peel from the bananas and apples. Slice the bananas, cut the apples into small pieces and pour lemon juice over them together in an extra bowl and stir. The lemon juice prevents both types of fruit from darkening. Then add to the rest of the fruit and stir.
  4. Place two scoops of walnut ice cream on the plate, add the fruit salad and serve. Add whipped cream or eggnog, if you like.
