Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
fresh, simple and healthy
Important note: This recipe requires a blender, ideally a relatively powerful one with a capacity of around 2 liters. Brew the chamomile tea around 30 minutes before preparation so that it can cool down and doesn’t destroy the valuable nutrients in the honey. Squeeze the lemon juice from the 2-3 lemons. If you are NOT using organic ginger, peel the ginger first. In my opinion, peeling isn’t necessary with organic ginger; at least it won’t make any difference to the taste of the juice later. Place the ginger, cooled tea, and lemon juice in a blender and blend on high. Then add the honey and blend again. This mixture still contains all the fibers and the ginger skin, so strain it when bottling to ensure you only get the liquid yellow juice. This yields approx. 1 to 1.5 liters of juice, depending on how fibrous the ginger is and the power of the blender.
