Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 350 g flour
  • 230 g water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 liter of oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

with salad or for dipping

Knead flour, water, and salt into a smooth dough. Then add the 2 teaspoons of oil and knead again. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes. Cut off approximately walnut-sized portions and roll them out thinly. Deep-fry them one at a time in hot oil. It’s best to press them down a little with a slotted spoon when they’re floating in the oil.
