Fried Feta Sticks

The perfect fried feta sticks recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Feta
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 tbsp Flour
  • 10 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 6 tbsp Sunflower oil
  1. Cut the feta into 5–2 cm thick strips. Whisk the eggs in a deep plate. Place the flour and breadcrumbs separately on a plate. Turn the feta strips one after the other in flour, eggs and breadcrumbs.
  2. Heat the oil in a large pan. Fry the feta sticks all around for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Drain briefly on kitchen paper.
  3. The feta sticks go well on a Greek starter plate served with a piece of lemon or with a farmer’s salad.
