Ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • 500 gr Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 300 ml Milk
  • For the filling:
  • 350 gr Sheep cheese or feta cheese
  • 1 tbsp Black cumin
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tsp Pepper

Instructions

  • Knead all the ingredients for the dough into a smooth dough. The dough must no longer stick but also not be too dry, so you have to see how much flour or how much milk there needs to be in the dough. Put aside.
  • In the meantime, prepare the filling. Crumble the cheese and mix with the rest of the ingredients.
  • Now the dough is processed until nothing is left. Take a piece of dough at a time and roll it out thinly. Cut out circles about 6 cm in diameter with a glass. Fill with the filling and fold up and close at the ends with a fork. Do the same with the rest of the dough. With this amount of information about 80-100 pieces come out. If this amount is too much for you, you can also freeze some of the finished dumplings! But please do not fry beforehand but freeze raw.
  • Now fill a pan with 2 cm of sunflower oil and heat it up. When the oil has gotten hot, turn it down, otherwise the dumplings will brown too quickly. Let the gold brown fry. Serve cold or warm. Ayran or Cay (black tea) with yogurt and salad goes well with it. But rice or bulgure salad (see my recipes) can also be served with it.
  • I hope you enjoy copying 🙂
