Fried leeks

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 5 small leeks
  • 1 egg(s)
  • some breadcrumbs
  • some fat, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

If you have large leeks, you should divide them. Boil the cleaned leeks briefly in salted water, drain, and let cool. Crack the egg and then coat the leeks in egg and breadcrumbs. Melt the cooking fat in a pan and briefly fry the breaded leeks on both sides. My children don’t like leeks, but with this preparation, I have to make sure there’s still some left for dinner. You can serve it with boiled potatoes and schnitzel.
