Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 300 g Chinese egg noodles (Mie noodles)
- salt water
- possibly spice mix for fried noodles (also works without)
- 200 g chicken breast fillet(s)
- lots of vegetables (e.g. peas, soybean sprouts, peppers, shiitake mushrooms, sugar snap peas)
- some Asian spice mix, dose carefully!
- turmeric
- Sambal Oelek
- chili powder
- cumin
- salt and pepper
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 1 small onion(s)
- some soy sauce, sweet (Ketjap Manis)
- 1 can of tomato paste
- some oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cook the mie noodles in salted water for about 2 minutes, then drain. Clean the vegetables and sauté them in a wok with the oil and onion. Add the meat in small pieces and season with the spices, soy sauce, and tomato paste. Finally, add the noodles and let everything cook for a further 2 minutes.
