Ingredients

  • 1 kg Minced meat mixed
  • 2 tbsp Low fat quark
  • 2 tbsp Mustard of your choice
  • 1 Red pepper
  • 1 Chilli pepper
  • 1 Onion
  • 5 slices Crispbread with sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Sambal oelek

spices for meat

  • Salt-Pepper-Mayoran
  • 1 tbsp Chopped rosemary

sauce

  • 1 Tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Creme fraiche Cheese
  • 1 Red pepper
  • 150 ml Red wine, dry
  • Salt
  • Some starch to bind the sauce
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • The crispbread with seeds is very important for this type of preparation .... it makes the roast quite rustic and hearty and you save yourself any addition of breadcrumbs or soaked rolls ....
  • I enriched the minced meat with chopped onions, chopped bell peppers, finely chopped chilli peppers .. there was also a fresh egg, mustard, quark and sambal oelek ... I mixed everything vigorously .. the crispbread was crushed and added .. again I mixed it up and seasoned it with salt, pepper and plenty of rosemary and mayoran.
  • As shown, I formed a roast .. I heated oil in a roasting pot .. Tip :: I always add half a teaspoon of salt to this oil .. Now the oil no longer splatters when the roast is placed ..! !!!!! then I seared the roast on all sides .. and left it on the stove, small flame ..
  • For the sauce, the tomato paste was added to the fond .. plus the sugar ... I chopped another red pepper into small pieces and added it to it .. when everything turned nice, I added about 800 ml of 1000 ml of water filled up .. I seasoned with salt and pepper. the roast simmered for 20 minutes on a medium flame ...
  • Now I added the dry red wine and the creme fraiche ... depending on the consistency of the sauce, you can tie it, which I did ... the roasted pepper was put into the oven in this way. There I left it at only 150 degree-upper / lower heat fry 50 minutes .. then the jewel was ready ....
  • Now it is up to you what you serve with it. I ate with mashed potatoes and butter peas ... but it is also very tasty just with ribbon noodles ...
