Fried white cabbage

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg white cabbage
  • 4 tbsp lard
  • 2 tbsp beet syrup
  • ½ liter vegetable broth
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Grate the white cabbage. Heat the lard and brown the cabbage in it, then transfer it to a roasting pan and spread the syrup, a little salt, and a little vegetable stock over it. Roast for about 60 minutes at 225°C, gradually adding the remaining stock.
