Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 chicory
- 4 oranges
- 2 bananas
- 2 apples
- 1 grapefruit(s), possibly with red flesh
- 1 lemon(s)
- Sugar or honey, to taste
- 4 cl rum, brandy or rum-flavoring (a few drops)

Wash the chicory, halve lengthwise, remove the stem, and cut into strips. Peel and fillet the oranges and grapefruit, reserving the juice and adding them to the fillets. Peel the apples if necessary; we leave them unpeeled, core them, and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Halve the lemon and drizzle the juice over the other ingredients. Add the alcohol or flavoring, mix everything together carefully, and season to taste. Sweeten with a little sugar or honey if desired. Let the salad rest for half an hour. Shortly before serving, add the peeled and sliced bananas and mix everything gently again. If you like more salad dressing, you can also add a little orange juice.
