Fruity Hazelnut Plucked Cake

The perfect fruity hazelnut plucked cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 100 g According to hazelnuts
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 130 g Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 500 g Quark
  • 300 g Doopelrahm – cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 P Vanilla flavored custard powder
  • 250 g Plum jam
  • 1 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • 2 P Vanilla sugar
  1. For the dough, quickly knead the flour, baking powder, hazelnuts, cinnamon, salt, butter, 1 egg and 100 g sugar into a smooth dough.
  2. Wrap in cling film and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
  3. For the cream, place 3 eggs, 150 g sugar, quark, cream cheese, lemon juice, pudding powder and vanilla sugar in a bowl and stir until smooth.
  4. Roll out half of the dough into a greased, square springform pan (approx. 24 x 24 cm), forming an approx. 4 cm high edge.
  5. Pour in the cream and smooth it out.
  6. Pluck the remaining dough into pieces, press flat with your fingers and spread on the cream.
  7. Spoon the plum jam between the pieces of dough.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven at 140 ° for approx. 50 minutes.
  9. Let cool, cut into pieces and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
