Fruity-spicy turkey strips

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g rice
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tsp, heaped chili flakes
  • 300 g turkey schnitzel
  • 1 banana(s)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook rice in plenty of salted water. Peel and finely dice the onion, trim and finely dice the carrot, and peel and slice the banana. Rinse the turkey cutlets, pat dry, and cut into strips. Heat the butter in a pan, fry the turkey strips for about 3 minutes, then remove. Fry the diced onion and carrot with the chili flakes in the pan for a few minutes, then add the banana slices and heat through. Season with pepper, salt, and soy sauce. Add the cooked rice and turkey strips and heat briefly again.
