Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 800 g turkey breast
- 2 onions
- 1 stalk(s) leek
- 2 apples
- 1 banana(s)
- 250 ml chicken broth
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 150 ml cream
- 1 ½ tbsp curry powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 250 g rice
- 2 tbsp rapeseed oil, or similar
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Cook the rice according to the instructions. In the meantime, cut the turkey breast into bite-sized pieces, finely chop the onions, and slice the leek. Brown the turkey breast in the oil, add the onions and leek, and cook briefly. Sprinkle with the curry powder and deglaze with the stock. Chop the apples and slice the banana, add both to the curry, and simmer for 15 minutes. Dissolve the cornstarch in cold water and stir into the curry. Stir in the cream and bring the curry to a boil briefly. Serve with the rice.
