Fusilli with Green Pesto, Tomato and Mozzarella

The perfect fusilli with green pesto, tomato and mozzarella recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Fussili
  • 1 Pc. Large tomato e.g. beefsteak tomato
  • 125 g Mozzarella
  • 3 tbsp Pesto Verde from the glass
  • 1,5 tbsp Olive oil
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Basil to taste
  1. Cook the fusilli al dente according to the instructions on the packet. Meanwhile, cut the mozzarella and tomato into small cubes and season with salt and pepper.
  1. Lightly fry the cooked fusilli in olive oil. After about 2 minutes add the tomatoes and mozzarella and fry everything together for about 5 minutes. Then add about 3 tablespoons of pesto (you have to try a little how intense you want the pesto taste).
  1. Season everything with salt and pepper. Stir in fresh basil or use basil leaves for garnish.
