Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 3 large eggs
- 75 ml water
- ½ tsp salt
- pepper
- ½ tsp, leveled nutmeg
- ½ pack of garden herbs, frozen
- 4 liters of salt water
- 4 tbsp butter
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg

Boil approximately 4 liters of salted water (1 teaspoon per liter) in a large saucepan. Using the dough hook of a mixer, combine the flour, eggs, salt, nutmeg, and water until a thick dough forms. Add the herbs and continue stirring for about 2 minutes. Spoon the dough into a spaetzle grater and press it into the boiling water. Cook until the spaetzle rise to the surface, then remove and drain well. Heat the butter in a large pan and fry the spaetzle for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Delicious with beef or pork goulash, venison goulash, or mushrooms in cream sauce.
