Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 1 beetroot
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 mozzarella
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 handful of basil leaves
  • 1 pizza dough from the refrigerated section or homemade
  • salt and pepper
  • some ham, air-dried or salami, in wafer-thin slices

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cut the carrot and beetroot lengthwise into 5 mm thick slices. Finely chop the garlic and onion. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the garlic, onion, beetroot, and carrot. Add a little water and sauté for about 5 minutes. Slice the tomato. Puree the basil with the diced mozzarella and the sour cream. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Preheat the oven to 220°C top/bottom heat (200°C fan-assisted). Roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet and pierce it several times with a fork. Spread the sour cream mixture on top and top with the vegetables. If desired, spread salami or ham on top. Bake for about 15-20 minutes and then enjoy.
