Mediterranean sheep's cheese baked

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 6 large tomatoes
  • 2 pointed peppers, red or yellow
  • 1 small pepper, mild
  • 1 handful of black olives, pitted
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp basil
  • 2 sprigs of thyme
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • n. B. Pepper, freshly ground
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

with fresh rosemary, basil and thyme – like on holiday

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Prepare two small baking dishes and crumble 100g of feta cheese into the bottom of each dish. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Wash, deseed, and finely dice the bell peppers. Dice the tomatoes and finely slice the peppers, then divide the ingredients between the dishes. Drizzle each dish with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and season with a pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper. Finally, divide the herbs between the dishes and fold them in, then add the whole rosemary sprigs. Bake the dishes on the middle rack of the oven for about 30 minutes. Serve with baguette or rye rolls.
