Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 large white bread (preferably from the day before)
- 250 g butter
- 200 g sheep’s cheese
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 1 bunch of basil
- 1 bunch marjoram
- 1 bunch of thyme
- 6 cloves garlic
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Score the bread in a fan-shaped pattern. The base should remain intact. Peel and press the garlic cloves, then mix with the butter, feta cheese, and herbs to form a paste. Spread the paste on both sides of the bread slices. Spread the remaining mixture over the loaf. Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and bake in the oven at 180°C for 35 minutes.
