Garlic spaghetti with fresh tomatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp basil, dried
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 27 minutes

Pope noodles

Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, cut the tomatoes into 1-2 cm cubes and finely chop the garlic. Drain the spaghetti and rinse. Heat the olive oil in a pan and lightly fry the garlic until it begins to brown. Then add the spaghetti to the pan and cook for about 2 minutes, turning occasionally. Just before serving, add the fresh diced tomatoes and basil, and season with salt.
