- 125 g butter, soft
- 1 large egg(s) , (M/L)

Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Energy for the break (with glucose and nuts)
Preheat the oven to 175°C (fan assisted). Mix the softened butter, sugar, and glucose thoroughly. Add the egg and mix well. Add the flour and baking powder and knead everything into a nice, smooth dough. Fold in the (roughly) chopped nuts. Form the dough into about 9 balls (about the size of a ping-pong ball) with a little flour. Place them well apart on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and flatten. If desired, press in chocolate chips or raisins. Bake for about 15 minutes. You can also stir 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder or 1 tablespoon of Nutella into the batter for a more chocolatey flavor. I was looking for an alternative to school sandwiches for a long time, as my son doesn’t like sandwiches and I don’t want him buying sweets during recess. These cookies aren’t overly sweet and provide energy (from glucose and nuts) for the school day or in between meals.
