Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g jasmine rice, well washed and drained
- 500 ml water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 piece(s) ginger, thumb-thick, peeled, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 7 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 27 minutes
Bring rice to a boil with water, salt, and ginger, then cover and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let rest with the lid on. Then drain through a fine sieve and serve.
