Gisi's quick onion cake

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g onion(s), chopped
  • 150 ml milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g cheese (Emmental, Gouda or pizza cheese), grated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • Caraway, ground
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

A delight, warm or cold

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Then pour the mixture into a greased springform pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C to 190°C for about 30 minutes. Tip: If you don’t like vegetarian options, you can add some finely diced bacon.
