Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g carrot(s)
- 3 tbsp butter
- ½ tbsp sugar
- 250 ml vegetable stock
- some salt and pepper
- 1 handful of sesame seeds, roasted
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
very healthy and low-calorie side dish
Peel the carrots and trim the green parts. Sauté the carrots in a pan with 3 tablespoons of butter. Sprinkle the sugar over the carrots and stir until dissolved. Pour in the broth and season with salt and pepper. Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes until the liquid has evaporated and the carrots are glazed. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
