Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 pork schnitzels
- 4 tomatoes, sliced
- 2 onions, cut into rings
- 4 slices of cheese (Emmental)
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- some oil for frying
- Paprika powder
- Sugar
- salt and pepper
- oregano
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Season the pork schnitzels with paprika and briefly fry in a pan with a little oil. Remove from the pan and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Fry the onions and garlic with a pinch of sugar in the pan until golden brown and spread over the schnitzels. Arrange the tomato slices on top, season with pepper, salt, and oregano, and top with the cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C until golden brown.
