Gnocchi and vegetable casserole with minced meat sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g gnocchi
  • 1 zucchini, cut into cubes
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 200 ml cream
  • 300 ml broth
  • 50 ml milk
  • 300 g minced meat
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 70 g tomato paste
  • n. B. herbs, Italian
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Dice the onion and fry in a little oil until translucent, then add the minced meat and fry until browned and crumbly. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Now add half of the tomato paste and fry briefly. Pour in the stock and stir in the cream and milk mixture. Bring to a boil briefly. Mix the remaining tomato paste with the sauce and add the spices and herbs. The sauce should now simmer for at least half an hour. In the meantime, you can chop the vegetables. Finally, stir the butter into the sauce and season again to taste. Place the gnocchi in a baking dish, divide the vegetables over the top, pour the sauce over everything, and sprinkle with the cheese. Bake at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for approx. 25-30 minutes.
