Gnocchi pan with chicory, peppers and shrimp

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 500 g chicory
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 250 g shrimp with herbs, frozen
  • 1 pack of feta cheese
  • 600 g gnocchi from the refrigerated section
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • chili powder
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and dice the onion. Dice the bell pepper and slice the chicory into rings, then set aside. Heat the oil in a pan and add the frozen shrimp until pink. Then add the onion and sauté until translucent. Next, add the bell pepper and chicory and fry briefly. Finally, add the crème fraîche, simmer briefly, and season with salt, pepper, chili, and paprika. Meanwhile, fry the gnocchi in a pan with a little oil until golden brown. Serve the gnocchi first, then the sauce. Add the feta cheese if desired; it gives the dish an extra delicious touch.
