Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 rolls
  • 300 g chicken breast fillet(s), cut into strips
  • 2 shallots
  • 2 strips of bacon
  • 100 ml Dijon mustard
  • 2 sprigs of dill
  • 1 dashes honey
  • 2 leaves of iceberg lettuce
  • 1 jar of pickles
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Bake the wheat buns in the oven for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, peel and finely chop the shallots. Briefly fry them with the sliced ​​chicken breast fillet in a little oil in a pan until the chicken strips are golden brown. Then briefly fry the bacon in the pan until crispy. For the sauce, finely chop the dill and mix well with the mustard and honey. Spread the sauce on the sliced ​​buns. Stack the chicken strips, cheese, bacon, lettuce, and shallots on the bottom buns and cover with the top bun. Finally, secure the burger with a skewer, if desired.
