Gnocchi with a twist

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g gnocchi
  • 2 small onions, red
  • 150 g grated cheese (preferably Emmental)
  • some milk, 1.5%
  • some stalks of cress, finely chopped, if available
  • salt and pepper
  • some oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

quick, easy and still delicious!

Finely slice the onions. Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan and sauté half of the onions. Add the gnocchi and sauté until browned. Add the finely chopped cress, sprinkle with the cheese, and let it melt. Add a little milk (to make it a little creamier, but it’s not necessary!). Season with salt and pepper and keep warm on low heat. In a small pan, fry the remaining onions with a little oil until you have fried onions. Serve immediately. A tomato salad or cucumber salad goes well with this.
