Goat cheese tartlets

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 300 g goat’s cheese
  • 100 g cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • pepper
  • 2 large mushrooms
  • 50 g smoked bacon

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

for tartlet cases

Mix the flour with the salt and make a well in the center. Sprinkle the cold butter pieces around the dough. Add the egg to the center and add 2-3 tablespoons of lukewarm water. Chop into crumbs with a knife, then knead into a dough. Form a ball and wrap in foil. Chill for 30 minutes. Roll out the dough into 8 rounds. Line the tartlet cases with the dough and chill. For the filling, mix the cream cheese, cream, flour, and eggs until smooth, season with pepper, and pour onto the dough. Dice the bacon and fry. Dice the mushrooms, add them, and fry for 1-2 minutes. Spoon the mushroom mixture onto the tartlets and bake at 200°C for 20-30 minutes. Cover with aluminum foil, if desired. Delicious hot or cold.
