Goat cheese wonton with thyme honey

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 goat cheese (Picandou) or other goat cheese
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • some lime juice
  • 4 sheets of dough (brick dough sheets)
  • 4 stalks of chives
  • some thyme, shredded

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C fan/convection oven. Blanch the chives in boiling water for 2 minutes and then refresh. Mix the honey with a little lime juice. Place a goat cheese in the center of each brick pastry sheet. Brush the cheese with honey and sprinkle with thyme. Fold the edges of the pastry together over the cheese and tie with a chive. Bake the parcels on baking paper in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown. Serve with lamb’s lettuce.
