  • In contrast to cow’s milk, goat’s milk contains significantly less alpha S1 casein. This protein is responsible for lactose intolerance and therefore goat’s milk is particularly interesting for people who are allergic to cow’s milk.
  • If you suffer from high cholesterol, goat’s milk can also be helpful. Goat’s milk contains twice as many medium-chain triglycerides as cow’s milk. This increases the proportion of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and reduces low-density lipoprotein cholesterol.
