creamy smoothie with fresh turmeric

Soak the cashews in water overnight (about 6-8 hours). Then, along with the soaking water and the remaining ingredients, blend in a blender until you have a creamy smoothie. Enjoy the smoothie immediately or store it in a tightly sealed dark glass bottle in the refrigerator for up to 1 day. This quantity makes one large glass. Tip: The smoothie tastes best slightly chilled. Therefore, we recommend placing the cashews in the refrigerator to soak and also placing the other ingredients in the refrigerator overnight. Please do not substitute fresh turmeric root for turmeric powder. Fresh turmeric root has a completely different flavor, is much fresher and fruitier, and it’s definitely worth getting fresh turmeric.
